Bloatware is a term used in both a neutral and disparaging sense, to describe the tendency of some computer programs (usually third-party wares from your machine’s manufacturer) to be larger, or to use larger amounts of system resources than necessary. Additionally, the term bloatware is used in common language for pre-installed, huge software bundles, mostly consisting of demos and trial programs. Almost all computer manufacturers are currently producing their computers pre-loaded with third-party or trial software. Defragmentation is a process that reduces the amount of data fragments (disorganized bits of data) in file systems. It does this by reorganizing the contents of the disk to store the pieces of each file more contiguously and closely together. It also attempts to create larger regions of continuous free space by using compaction to impede the return of fragmentation. Some defragmenters also try to keep smaller files within a single directory together, as they are often accessed in sequence by your computer. Basically, bits of data get scattered as part of the normal wear-and-tear process of computer usage, making it harder for your computer to gather data across directories and steadily slowing down your computer. We will do a deep defragmentation of all the data on your drive, allocating data you can’t reach with the simple Windows utility to optimize your computer’s speed and performance.
